Consumer’s protection in the on-line purchases
is guaranteed by the Italian law D.Lgs n.185 dd 22.05.1999, in compliance with
the European directive nr.97/7/CE. The above mentioned law states the rights and
duties of the consumer, which can be synthesised as follows:
- the consumer has the right to refuse the
goods within 10days from their receipt.
- Refusal must be stated clearly in a letter,
to be sent to the supplier through registered mail.
- Customer must prove that the refused goods
bear a manufacturing defect.
- Customer must bear the cost of the delivery
back to the supplier.
- The goods must be returned in their
original packing.
- Original packing must not have been opened.

comfortable for them: registered mail, fax, or e-mail. In any case, the
refusal document must clearly state the customer’s identification data and
his order number.
- Our customer doesn’t “have to” prove any
manufacturing defect of our product. We simply ask our customers to base
their refusal upon valid reasons, according to their honest, loyal and
objective behaviour. Mamasardinia will replace the refused product with
another product from our catalog, of same or higher value, or will refund
the paid value upon such request from the customer.
- Our customers don’t “have to” return the
goods in their original good shaped packing. We understand that a product
has to be tried, for to know if it satisfies us.
- The refused goods will be collected by
Mamasardinia, who will also take care of the return expenses.
